This program is designed to give students in the College of Letters and Science the opportunity to pursue their interests as part of a community of scholars. Students will meet with their international academic advisors regularly to ensure they are on track to graduate and meet their academic goals. International students have a team of dedicated advisors who will guide students throughout their academic career at UC Davis.Second year students with an Undeclared major hold are required to participate in quarterly advising. Being undeclared is a great way to start exploring majors. We are committed to supporting and empowering students as they create an individualized plan for self-exploration and thoughtful investigation of major and career options.Peers are current UC Davis students from a wide variety of majors who can offer advice on topics such as course scheduling, major and minor selection, getting involved on campus, and are a great resource for student life. Peer advising is available in the advising office, many major departments, and in residence halls across campus. The Department of Mathematics serves the UCSB campus by providing service courses for students taking mathematics as a requirement for a non-math major, a full list of upper division courses for our math majors and a wide variety of graduate courses that bring our graduate students closer and closer to the cutting edge research of our top-notch permanent faculty who have received numerous honors and awards.
